Meet Mr Kieren Darcy

Mr Kieren Darcy is a highly qualified, professional, and caring Consultant Eye Surgeon who works both privately and in the NHS. He is the Head of Corneal and Refractive Surgery at the internationally respected Bristol Eye Hospital, which is part of the University of Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. Mr Darcy started his career as a General Surgeon and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England. He moved into Ophthalmology in 2007, training in London and the South-West of England.

Not only does Mr Darcy have extensive experience in eye surgery, but he is also an active researcher in corneal surgery and has published many articles in international journals. With this knowledge at his disposal, Mr Darcy also benefits patients by gaining individual early access to new treatments. As well as being an expert surgeon, Mr Darcy is also dedicated to patient care – making sure that each patient receives the attention they deserve from him personally. This means that you can be assured that your procedure will be carried out with skill and care by someone who really understands your needs.
